    Happy to see GP is genuinely reading Blackshirts and Reds like I told them to and now recommending it to others. Very lib, and very anti-communist (hence “Marxist apologia”), but I genuinely think there’s a sliver of a chance that they will end up radicalized from seeing the utter nonsense divorced from reality the anticommunists bring in light of having read some Parenti.

        I agree! They’ve been very reactionary at times, but in the last month or so they’ve started to push back against the more extreme anti-communists. Now that they are reading Parenti, I genuinely think there’s a chance.
