I think engagement with lib reddit would have a large cost for little return, it’s been like this for a decade. I mean you have a point but like, it doesn’t seem very feasible

We would like need to use bots

Even on our beloved hexbear we are simply just posting any resulting political action is coincidental because it requires the ultimate sacrifice of logout

I’m not talking about posting at them. People who talk and think exactly like this are going to be extremely important to actual real world organizing.

That hysteria is actionable. We can say - you are right to be freaked out. But it’s pointless to sit around pulling your hair out when you can join an organization taking action.

I think this is the take. It’s gonna be really fucking annoying to work with former libs-turning-leftists in real time, but the conditions are only going to create more of them and we really do need the numbers.

I mean it’s obvious we need the numbers, but what we need more than that is a way to ban them from their local brunch places. I doubt that we can reorient these people in 4 years to understand that Democrats are also the enemy.

The party diehards and brunch libs will ride that shit into the canyon floor like Wile E Coyote, yeah. But there are a lot of other people who have been openly hung out to dry or had their friends and relatives killed directly or inderectly by the polite fascists, or who are afraid they’re next to have their lives ruined by poverty. Many former vote blue people are now disillusioned, beginning to understand the real horror of their circumstances, and desperate for answers.
