I’m claiming that protest voting wasn’t a significant factor in trump being elected, unlike democrats running on having the, I quote, “most lethal army in the world” during an ongoing genocide, bringing the Cheney, and a myriad of other problems. The dems only have themselves to blame for being incapable of offering a better, more desirable option than Donald J fucking Trump

Sooooooo…. All the people saying “you should have listened to us!” and, “We told you this would happen!

      Liars?

Because a LOT of you seem to think that your little protest was a clear message sent and received.

        Liars?

Not liars, just unaware that, outwards (i.e. internationally), there is no difference in policy between democrats and republicans. Now, what are you gonna do, bash to the left of you (the ones who actually organise to fight against fascism), or join us?

          Okay, so-

It DID work and you all successfully got trump elected?

You’re kind of making my point for me here. Pick a lane and stick with it. Either your protest was effective and you take credit for where we are now, or it was a waste of time and effort.

So let’s skip over the double-talk and rhetoric and break this down a bit.

You say it was never the objective to have protest effect anything electoral, yet at the heart of a boycott/refusal-based protest- THAT is what the expected result. The message is sent via consequences of not listening to the protest “warning.” You don’t protest with the holes of having no effect on something. Admit it: You all threatened America that we’d get trump if we didn’t listen to you.

Saying we didn’t expect to effect anything on an electoral standpoint- is the equivalent of saying, ”we are boycotting Best Buy by not shopping there, but we don’t expect to hurt their profit margin at all!”

You either successfully protested the election by wasting it on a third party/staying home- thus allowing trump to win, or you failed at protesting the election by wasting it on a third party/staying home- thus allowing trump to win.

It cannot be both or neither. And no matter the answer- your little protest voting fucked everyone. You all helped get trump elected. Period. There is no argument to be made here.

So with the smoke cleared, and the blame properly placed, our only consolation is watching you all perform your awkward mental gymnastics in an hopeless effort to not be held responsible.

              Lastly…

And by still denying responsibility, you are actively saying that you lack the humility and self-awareness it takes to admit you made a mistake, and as a result, are now free and clear to protest everyone’s rights away next election because you’ll find a new single issue as an excuse to lazily stay home and bitch at people on the internet. All because you have a rock-solid excuse to absolve you of any responsibility for your unwillingness to do the bare minimum.

If you didn’t vote- this was YOUR fault. Democrats voted. They did their job. Even conservatives voted and did their job. If you didn’t-

              Trump is YOUR fault.

I didn’t vote because I’m in the EU lmao. Trump isn’t my fault.

You say it was never the objective to have protest effect anything electoral

Not by results, but by swaying the electorate left and making the democrats realize that without leftism they lose. Dem voters and the leaders refused to listen, the results are in, accept it. There weren’t enough people saying “kamala and trump are the same, genocide isn’t an option” to make the dems lose the election, the dems lost it by maintaining 50 million people at home not voting at all by being genocidal freaks that offer no improvement to the working class.

You can cry all you want about how it’s “ackchually the left” who made you lose the elections, but that was the dems themselves running on a right wing campaign as shown time and time and time and time again. You can only run on “being slightly less bad than fascists” so many times.

You don’t protest with the holes of having no effect on something

We hoped to influence you libs on acknowledging the genocide and making it clear to the democrat administration that no ceasefire no votes, but you failed to do even that. You literally don’t understand anything other than elections and election results, no other possible strategies than voting for Milquetoast fascism instead of outright fascism every 4 years. And even then, you freaking lose said elections.

And no matter the answer- your little protest voting fucked everyone

Again, the numbers say otherwise, but go live in your alternate life where hexbear and .ml have 20 million votes lmao

I didn’t vote because I’m in the EU lmao. Trump isn’t my fault.

That you’re here telling others what they should do, and how they should do it negates your “I don’t live in America” exemption. So, tough shit. you’re taking the blame right alongside them.

You can cry all you want about how it’s “ackchually the left” who made you lose the elections

No one is crying here. So let’s put down the angsty antagonistic remarks. I’m an adult. Escalation isn’t going to work on me.

We hoped to influence you libs on acknowledging the genocide and making it clear to the democrat administration that no ceasefire no votes, but you failed to do even that.

We? If you live in the EU, there is no “we” here. You’re not “we.” If you aren’t standing with them in responsibility, then you don’t get to be a “we” here.

Again, the numbers say otherwise, but go live in your alternate life where hexbear and .ml have 20 million votes lmao

Hexbear and .ml are irrelevant trolls- what do they have to do with this?

And since you brought up numbers:

                  • 90 million people didn’t vote, and MANY didn’t because of the nonsense you’re promoting.
                  • Harris lost by somewhere around 2.3 million votes.

How many of those 90 million people do you think could have gotten off their ass and stood in front of trump with the rest of us?

                  • Third party candidates received a combined total of a little over 3 million wasted votes.

                  Do the math.

Now, since you don’t live in America, and are clearly here to antagonize and troll- we’re done. And since I know how much you people love having the last word, I am going to end this here and let you have it.

Be sure to make it a good one.

Uh… These people didn’t vote not because or my nonsense, but because the democrats are incapable of producing a candidate or policy desirable enough to make people vote for it. People are exhausted of voting lesser fascist and they don’t vote. We’ve just been predicting that this would happen, that without a turn to the left, the democrats would lose. They didn’t turn left, they lost, maybe listen next time.

Now, since you don’t live in America

Sadly, the US lives in all of us through the constant miserable propaganda and international policy. Since the US policy affects me, I have a right to an opinion on it, don’t be a chauvinist
