for me its dragon ball z. i’ve always wanted a good 3d open world dbz action rpg kind of game, but it’s just never been done to its full potential. the closest we’ve gotten in my opinion is dragon ball z kakarot, which has great DBZ fighting game style fighting, and tries to incorporate it with an open world with rpg-light type features, but the world and rpg elements are just so uninspired and poorly done. they don’t really blend well with the fighting segments either, it feels like all of the ‘open world’ is more of just a 3d overworld with minigames

I’d love to see another Twisted Metal game though I’m not sure if that’s what you meant. I think it still has a lot of potential as a genre in general.

Right?! The potential is there, I’m surprised no one has grabbed at it. The show was pretty fun (in my humble opinion, I know it was divisive) and everyone loves their reboots, legacy sequels, and nostalgia baiting right now.

So much potential. I’ve long held the opinion that creativity is a result of passion, and that the reason the industry is stagnating is that the passionate are no longer the drivers. Name any IP andget a couple fans together they’ll have awesome ideas.

I also liked the show, it was nothing like the games and made good use of the core ideas nonetheless. The theories I’ve read make it seem like an awesome introduction to season 2 adding Calypso.
