The work these groups do will be critical during a second Trump Administration.

I’d rather see organizations that I can join and DO something rather than give money to. So many organizations will take your money but dont want to talk to you otherwise.

Almost every single time I’ve asked “what can i do?” I have been told that it’s just so much easier to donate. We just want to pay our staff (as if I’m the one holding that back from them).

I actively participate in local politics and i can tell you that 90% of the organizations i see in my area are “nationwide” and absolute no shows at Town/Village meetings/hearings.

If you are gonna donate to charities, vet them a little. I’m not saying the majority of them are not legit, i simply disagree with how some orgs go about implementation so i choose based off that.

ACLU is already suing and will continue to do so. Another great one to support which is not on this list is the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Any thoughts on which organizations can make the biggest impact or need help the most? It’s tough to choose.

Think I’m leaning towards Immigration Impact.

Did any of these groups do anything at all during initial Trump presidency? Because I haven’t heard of most of them (exclude ACLU, SPLC & PP). They all sound like useless money sinks if none of them are willing to throw down the gloves and fight dirty.
