It says a lot how the corporate media pretend to care about antisemitism whenever the apartheid régime is in the spotlight, but the problem of Islamophobia doesn’t even occur to them.

As far as I’m concerned western media has no problem being forwardly, candidly and outwardly racist towards Muslims and Arabs more broadly on a consistent basis. The majority of publications have no issue whatsoever with overtly or implicitly stating that actions taken by Arab people are either “terrorism” or adjacent to it, and that there is no perspective from which they are justifiable. There isn’t a single thing that these people can do other than graciously licking the boots of the west in direct opposition to their own material interests that will be seen as anything other that terrorism or subversion. The inherent white supremacist nature of liberalism is the backbone of their ability to perpetuate this bullshit, I think.

To the media, the Islamophobia has no context, just Muslims being angry, and unfortunately most Americans Democrats and Republican politicians alike sell that narrative, partly because of basic Racism, partly because of their need to support Raytheon and Lockheed-Martin to make more money for themselves. And once you have all the politicians lined up on that one point, the vast majority of the US voter base will support genocide.

I love how we’re already immediately back to western media not caring about Muslims (at best) so soon after they pretended so hard to care about Muslims in China lol

In the U.S., Christianity has done far more to harm women than Islam. Look at the Dobbs decision on abortion.

If some American is scared of Islam and they aren’t 1000% more scared of Christianity, they’re just Islamophobic, they’re not making some objective threat assessment.

Apparently the attacker was also their landlord:

According to the Will County sheriff’s office, the woman had called 911 to report that her landlord had attacked her with a knife, adding she then ran into a bathroom and continued to fight him off.

The Muslim civil liberties organization called the crime “our worst nightmare” and part of a disturbing spike in hate calls and emails since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. The group cited text messages exchanged among family members that showed the attacker had made disparaging remarks about Muslims.

Not going to lie, I am surprised he even allowed them to rent from him in the first place. Surely there was some deep-seated racism there already that predates current events.

For the boy’s sake, now I wish he hadn’t.

If Ben Shapiro is responsible for the New Zealand guy, the white house is responsible for this… Even more so. I am not defending Shapiro, I am saying they both caused acts of violence.
