In the years leading up to covid, I was a caregiver for my grandparents and watched them slowly lose their minds before they went. My grandfather was especially bad at the end. So my two biggest fears regarding covid are the death of Herd Immunity, which we’re watching occur, and this shit. 
Herd immunity never existed with covid, is it okay to say that here? The vaccines prevented acute deaths, but not infection and not spreading.
