checks opinion polls for what issue voters prioritize right now

I see it as a comical artifact of how hyper-optimized towards polling and focus groups that party messaging has become. An inevitable consequence of liberal democracy in the information age.
They can’t even check the pulse of America right, if they really wanted people to oppose P2025 they would say it’s pro-health insurance CEO and anti green-outfitted Italian plumbers
But they won’t because they are cowards (and pro health insurance of course)
How am I not surprised that his biggest criticism of Project 2025 is that it would hurt the line going up.
