Widelands is a free, open source real-time strategy game with singleplayer campaigns and a multiplayer mode. The game was inspired by Settlers II™ (© Bluebyte) but has significantly more variety and depth to it.

This stylized aesthetic is getting more and more popular again. But nobody forces you to look at it. Just don’t ruin it for the rest of us with your negativity.
It’s not just retro aesthetics, it’s a straight Settlers 2 clone.
Those are beautiful, well crafted pixel art sprites. The game above is cheap CGI render slop that was hallmark of a shareware title.

Me sharing my criticism of the, even for the era bad looking graphics, does not ‘ruin’ the game for you; Unless the only reason you played was for the graphics?
