For a while after Trevor left, The Daily Show was really floundering for a bit, giving nearly everyone a run at the desk, even if they were abrasive and not even remotely funny, as long as they ticked some diversity box. I was on the verge of giving up watching until they changed that up a bit and then brought Jon back.
