      This is the whole absurd part…there are no crimes. Why the fuck does anyone need a pardon???

        Because Trump and his nominees are out there saying they’re going to go after political enemies. The idea of the pre-emptive pardon is to predict what bullshit will be levied against their targets and shield against it with a pardon.
