I guess this is about the best you can expect from a billionaire’s read of class. That his concern doesn’t seem to be exploitation itself, but a fear that the padding of the so-called “middle class” will cave and give way to social unrest. Easy fix for him though: Turn class traitor, stop being a billionaire, start reading theory. Then he can go to sleep at night dreaming of liberation instead of fearing the masses coming for him.
He’s worried that the bourgeoisie are stripping down and weakening the barrier classes of the petite bourgeois and the labour aristocracy to much. Those classes are vital for the continued existence of capitalism.
