Right now? Silo. Every damn episode of that first season was perfect. In a few months it will probably be Star Trek Lower Decks again.
Silo is fantastic. If you need another great show on Apple TV, watch Severance. It’s the best show I’ve seen in years.
I wish I could wipe my memory of Severance and watch it again for the first time again.
Such an incredible show.
I liked it a bunch, but I’ve told anyone that I don’t recommend it until the next season comes out. That cliffhanger ending was too nasty.
I second Severance - excellent show. I’m adding Carnivale into the mix here.
I lost interest in it after 5 episodes… It was too slow.
Current? Star Trek Strange new Worlds and Good Omens 2
I’m horrified about good omens 2 and have not started it yet. If I remember correctly the first good omens was an adaptation of the entire book?
So they continue the story after the book? Without Pratchett? I’m just a little afraid.
It’s definitely different, but definitely good, and I say that as a Pratchett superfan.
Neil did a really good job, and I think Tennant and Sheen’s chemistry is even better this time around, which I did not think was possible.
Also, Rob Wilkins, Pratchett’s assistant and “curator” of his legacy is an executive producer.
You should watch it.
No need. S2 is really good. Its not pratchett but gaiman wrote this with finnemore. And although i dont know this man i read that its the next best thing. Anyway i watched it and its great
started Star Trek from the brginning with gf around a year ago - now completely hooked on the whole thing.
currently at in the middle of season 2, Voyager.
I’m so jealous of being able to watch voyager for the first time
Probably What We Do In The Shadows. Consistently great.
I’m hyped as fuck for season 5. It’s gonna be a good one
Ted Lasso.
We just finished, I hope there will be a spinoff because I’m not ready to finish with them all. There are still so many things for them to do, Roy Kent is the best.
I love S01 and S02, but S03 was a huge letdown for me compared with S01 and S02. Too many side stories and unnecessary new characters and important things happening off screen rather than on screen
I just started watching this show and was amazed how funny and heartfelt it is. Can’t believe I slept on it for so long.
So good I had to binge watch it all over again as soon as I finished.
The Bear was very good. Season 2 even moreao than Season 1.
There’s already a season 2?!
Right?! I cannot take the anxiety that I expect it to give me at this moment, but I am very excited once I can get my head right!
Season 2 has some really anxious episodes. I don’t think anything tops that one-shot ep in S1, but it definitely comes close.
Taskmaster
Taskmaster NZ comes out tomorrow!
🎉
What is your favorite season?
Man, it’s hard to pick. Probably 14, but then a bunch of them would be a close second for me.
What about you?
For me, season 11 had so many hilarious moments - especially Mike Wozniak. That guy cracks me up every time he speaks - and his mannerisms remind me of my grandad, which only increases the hilarity!
That one is right up there for me, too. Wozniak is pretty much the biggest reason I’ll try to catch the kids’ Taskmaster. I do like Rose a lot, but I don’t think her presence alone would counterbalance “show featuring a bunch of kids” enough.
Letterkenny and The Good Place, with a side of The Witcher and Shoresy
Edit: Archer and B99 are always strong choices, too.
I loved early Letterkenny, but the later seasons were more annoying than funny IMO
Crack an Ag? Betcha can’t.
Steven Universe and Buffy the Vampire Slayer fight for that honor
I have found my clone! Were you able to watch BtVS when it was new? I was a little too young and wonder how exciting that mustve been
Nope, Buffy came out the year I was born. I watched it when I was young on my mom’s recommendation.
I was still in diapers when the film came out and just getting ready for elementary when the show came out. What season is your favorite?
A tricky question, some days I’ll say three some days I’ll say four probably. Honorable mention to season 5.
Tbh I liked angel more, but I my head I clump them together
2-4 are the best three seasons I can think of of a show. Angel is a great show, but its way more like season six of buffy where there are great episodes interspersed with some dreary shit
Better call Saul is the only thing I’ve been watching for the last couple of weeks, first time watching it.
Hah me too! I watched Breaking Bad years ago and loved it, but never tried Better Call Saul! I suspect I’m nearing the end of the series though. It’s been excellent!
I’m really envious. Watching Better Call Saul for the first time again would be magic.
I’m probably on my fifth rerun or something… It’s an incredible show. I would rate these two shows as best of television ever.
Rewatching stargate and it’s just as good as I remember
Indeed.

Currently, Warrior! And recently, Barry (one of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen)
Warrior is so freaking good.
So true! I was really sceptical at first, not being a huge fan of either western movies and Kung Fu ones, but this TV show is definitely something else! Starting season 3 now 😁
Just finished The Librarians and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Onto Good Omens but have no idea how to follow this trio.
Warehouse 13, Eureka they will fit nicely after librarians
Both are fantastic and what lead me to the librarians. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch.
I just discovered Good Omens this year. What a great show!

Warehouse 13 and The Librarians always scratched similar itches for me.
The Witcher
Season 1 of Altered Carbon is still my favorite show.
Absolutely loved season 1, literally slept through 2nd, why was it so bad?
The creator of the show was also the co-showrunner for season 1. Season 2 only had the other, non-creator showrunner, who apparently said in an interview that she wanted season 2 to be “less Bladerunner”, more “Chronicles of Riddick”.
I think that explains what happened pretty succinctly.
Honestly I’m not sure why it was such a drastic quality drop, but jesus christ it was,
I think a lot of it had to do with the way the books were so different. The first was a neonoir cyberpunk detective story, the second and third book were planet spanning adventure with some alien things going on and more body swapping which is hard when you have a main star in the show.
