Porn is so same-y. I gotta say it’s gotten pretty boring for me over the last decade (I’m ~40). I think that content involving some setup/plot is more interesting to me now, but most porn content just throws body parts in your face.

Any suggestions for material that is a little more… I don’t know… Motivated? Intellectually interesting? Funny? Etc?

I would suggest checking Bellesa Studio content. It is still regular porn but just a bit different view. Their tagline is “porn by women” and obviously women are better in this job too.

I find content I can engage with to be the most interesting. For a long time games were a good way to not just see interesting things but actually affect how events transpire. You go from an observer to a participant. I also could enjoy tinkering with games to add my own twist; ren’py visual novels were very easy to change.

AI chat is also fun, particularly if you’re running GPT4All on your local computer instead of letting who knows which companies read your conversation. I enjoy writing the story, but whenever I can’t think of what happens next I let the AI add something. Usually I either go with it or I’ll have a better idea that I can use instead. Writing a slow burn situation is particularly fun as the eventual payoff is that much more rewarding.

The last thing I’ve been doing lately is to find the studio, artist, or content creator that creates things you like and follow their work. While the release schedule is never as fast as I would like, it’s awesome when you see a new release and get excited. I also like to toss them some money to support their work, and I feel that helps strengthen the community.

Thanks for that great response! Where do you find your nsfw studio artists/content creators? Patreon doesn’t allow nsfw, & I assume you don’t mean onlyfans :)

If you haven’t tried it, audio porn. Turn off the lights and the screen, put in some earbuds and close your eyes. They’re often slower burn and at least for me is usually a much better experience than video.

I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for but i feel the same way and found myself reading a lot on Literotica. I use MS Edge and have it read the stories aloud since I don’t like sitting and reading.

I’m a 43 yo bi guy and I’ve delved into all sorts of genres. Even though I don’t masturbate to it immediately, it does make the experience better later in with my usual porn.

Also, it’s the only way I get to feel a lot of those giddy, sexy, excited feelings I got when I was a younger lad.

PS. You can install Edge on Android.

Anything that’s a slower burn tends to be a more satisfying experience in my opinion. Mass market porn is just there when you want to get off quickly, but it’s not a good experience.

Erotica, games, eRP, and actual human chat partners are all massively more satisfying when the time comes. The older I get the stronger that sentiment gets.

Agreed. I guess a lot of that comes from fetish type content aimed at specific scenarios people find interesting. The problem is that apart from more popular ones (like feet etc), the group size for each niche is going to be pretty small so it’s hard to find content tailored to very specific niches. Generally there are quite a few different communities here but often they are dead or have only one person posting (group size issue again). This is fine if you know your preferences and you know where to go to find content related to them, but it’s a problem when you want to browse local to find your niches.

Meanwhile, I guess the most popular content is probably ‘body parts in face’ or something, or at least it’s the lowest effort way to get clicks which is probably why it’s the most prevalent content. A lot of that stuff is also marketing for onlyfans. I dunno, maybe try looking around the web more haphazardly and see what you find?

It is very subjective as to what you will like or dislike. I would suggest checking things you do like in different formats (art, books, graphic novels). Maybe find a discord with some people with the same tastes… See if any have adjacent content that interests you.
