If you separate art from the artist, what the fuck are you left with?
Generally, what a typical treat defender wants you to see: just spectacle, noise, sensation. No subtext. Nothing else derived from it but cheap brain chemical releases.

I reject the “separate art from artist” treat defending mantra and as time goes on I’m more loud and direct about it.
