    It was so obviously something else that some idiot forced them to use the Scooby Doo IP. It would’ve still flopped since the writing was bad, but at least it wouldn’t have harmed the brand. Velma got done dirty.

      Probably would’ve done better as a tongue-in-cheek parody. Then it would just be another adult cartoon trying its luck.

      Instead they made it harder on themselves by both ripping up a beloved classic brand and locking themselves into characters they seemingly didn’t wanna write for.

      Why they thought that wouldn’t piss a whole bunch of people off is beyond me…

      Could’ve been “oh hah it’s supposed to be scooby doo” but ended up as “is this supposed to be scooby doo??”
