I seriously broke up with a girl because of this one thing. She was great everywhere else. I found her gorgeous. She was smart. She loved me. She wanted to be around me all the time…but she would not stop interrupting me when I was working. It was sooooo distracting. We had multiple conversations about it over 1-2 months. I finally had to decide that I either drop out of grad school or I break up with her. I might have chosen wrong tho, cause I’m not getting any action lately. At least I can tell the girls that I am a doctor while they walk away from me.

Also known as “working from home with kids”.

Ouch. That brought me some memories.

“We’re going to need you to spend more time in the office.”

I found that after improving my physical health, this has gotten much better.
