      Kinda reminds me of the Bone comics by Jeff Smith. I don’t know if they were popular or not but I used to get them from the library all the time as a kid

    I didn’t become who I truly wanted to become because who I wanted to become had no future. I’m glad with the choice I made now that the future is here.
