      I wonder if they could have a super hot, super dense core that gives them the chance of an atmosphere and a warm surface. Bioluminescent everything. It would be like looking at a blacklight poster on heated seats.

        There’s a book series, the first of which is called Dark Eden, which is set on a planet substantially like that 🙂
