Exactly, Ja has to want to make a change and his behavior so far just shows he wants to live a different lifestyle and act a certain way that is not going to end well for him. Until he wants to make that change, he is going to keep doing the same things.
I think it’ll have a larger impact than we feel like it will. Ja is letting down his coaches, teammates, and the fans who want to see him ball. I get it already happened once and didn’t seem to do much, but this is for more games and last time the Grizzlies basically had the post season on lock. We won’t see Ja playing with any new pieces on the team until a third of the way into the season.
Hopefully for his sake, this was enough of a wake-up call to make real changes in his life. I’m not a Grizzlies fan, but love watching Ja play.
