Just wanted to share a thread for those who don’t regularly venture out of the bear site. Can’t cross-post since it’s defederated. It’s small but has some numbers about community counts, active users, etc and links to more info from https://lemmyverse.net/. Thought it was notable that Hexbear shows up no matter how you sort it.

    Can you truly say you’ve had the HB experience if you haven’t recieved emoji/sticker/gif spam from people who weren’t alive for 9/11,

    That I was, and I distinctly remember cracking a joke about it shortly after to only get around 50 absolutely horrified faces after saying “i guess the talibans favorite football team was also the New York Jets”

    have never been outside their country,

    I’ve been to ten foreign countries so far enjoyed them more than seventeen out of the eighteen states I’ve been to in the U.S.

    I think that could count as being modestly traveled as an individual.

    and refuse to listen to opposing views

    I do listen to opposing views, I just do what every normal person does afterwards and tell you your views are wrong when they’re wrong.
