Excellent point, I wish the moderators understood their value. They almost exclusively get shit on but do provide a real value that’s mostly invisible.

I’m kinda perplexed what motivates these mods. If they don’t have any ownership in their subreddits and are just expendable there’s very little value in being mod. I suppose some just enjoy the daily tasks of cleaning, I guess that can be fulfilling as well.
