“In my remarks following the address of the President of Ukraine, I recognized an individual in the gallery. I have subsequently become aware of more information which causes me to regret my decision to do so,” Rota said in a statement.

I don’t believe this one bit. Canada in general is extremely cozy with Banderites. There are memorial monuments for them and their deputy PM’s grandfather was a Banderite too, a fact that she is wholeheartedly unapologetic about.

Canada admitting a bunch of Nazis, partly based on the fact that they were Nazis, was covered by mainstream media 25 years ago.

One way of getting into postwar Canada “was by showing the SS tattoo,” Canadian historian Irving Abella told “60 Minutes” interviewer Mike Wallace. “This proved that you were an anti-Communist.”

I’m pretty sure this was a trial balloon to see if they could get away with it and to judge public reaction.

Anti-Russian sentiment is so normalized they’ll celebrate anyone who kills them, even if they’re a Nazi.
