Dude I have to say I love that politics is getting weird again
Remember Archibald Cox getting pulled over going 90 mph and telling the state trooper he was the special prosecutor and Nixon’s goons were ransacking his office and he needed to get there right away and the trooper put on his lights and gave him a police escort to get across the state now at 100 mph to put a stop to it? Remember when you had family members who were precinct captains who were involved, before assholes on TV and people who worked in Washington took over the whole fuckin process and coincidentally everything in the country started going to shit?
I really like that something major and unexpected has happened, and not in some catastrophic way. We need that.
I dunno man, there have been enough weird political events in the last 8 years that wouldnt feel out of place in a comedy movie. When they happen in real life it’s actually scary.
I want politics to be boring again.

If he died Kamala would not be there she would be going through transitioning. As I understand it, it’s best practice to immediately brief the president on major happenings around the world.
She’d be extremely busy for sometime, but she’d need to campaign even less, as she’d be the focus of national news for the next several months if not past the election.
I’m really not looking forward to every stupid right wing conspiracy theory being breathlessly reported as “news” for the next 6 months.

Biden has COVID. It makes perfect sense he wouldn’t do interviews and press conferences.
