There’s more than zero crossover between eggs and Eva fans but I wouldn’t say it’s an automatic singnifier. Eva is one if not the biggest anime ip or one of the biggest so it has mass appeal. I’d say Gundam could be equated to a similar sized fanbase and I’d joke that the gay to straight ratio is pretty high.

Eva has a little textual support but it’s mostly just a bit we do ^^
