    Well actually they"re not sold with the bootloader unlocked, you have to connect to the Internet for it to do that first.

      lmao wut?

      “Bootloader unlocked” means you can change the firmware on the device. Google sells it as a feature so you can replace the operating system. You can’t (not easily) unlock a pixel phone’s bootloader if you buy it from another retailer like Verizon.

        It doesn’t come unlocked, the OS must go through attestation via Google’s proprietary servers connected to the Internet to actually unlock the bootloader.

        They are not sold unlocked.
