Haiku is an open-source operating system that specifically targets personal computing. Inspired by BeOS, Haiku is fast and easy to learn but very powerful.
I knew this still existed as a port, but I didn’t realize it seems to be actively maintained. Has anyone experience with the project to be able to confirm if they think that donations are spent judiciously? I already support a couple of other open-source projects and would love to kick a few bucks this way. In fact I just bought a couple of shirts from them, but that’s benefitting me as much as (or more than) them, so it’s a different calculus.
