    Fuck your genocide.

Israel felt the U.S. allowed it to be blindsided by Hamas’ announcement this week that it was accepting a version of a cease-fire proposal.

Oh, you didn’t have a chance to move the goalposts? Cry harder.

Oh look, the thing we said Biden should’ve done from day one is effective. I’m sure all the ‘serious’ people that said you can’t just condition aid to Israel will apologise for being wrong and allowing for the murder of 20000 children.

Hey, I was one of those people, and I paid attention to polls. Israel has squandered a lot of good will, but Biden has to be very, very careful here because there’s still a lot of zionist democrats.

      And he is being careful.

But as Israel does more genocidal things, they’ll lose more support, and Biden will be able to ramp up the pressure on them.

All we’ve been saying, this whole time, is that Biden needs to do whatever he needs to do to get elected. Not what’s righteous. What’s practical.

22% of Democrats, 35% of Independents, and 58% of Republicans believe Israel is not committing genocide according to the newest poll linked above. It’s definitely mostly Republicans.

Biden needs to do whatever he needs to do to get elected.

Up to and including supplying weapons and funding for a genocide? This position is morally reprehensible. I’m sympathetic to the argument that people should still vote for Biden for harm reduction, but suggesting Biden’s support for Israel’s genocide is justified because it helps him get elected is way over the line.

It’s not hyperbole. That’s their end game. Read history. This is absolutely a rising fascist movement.

Your post gives me “evil Jews and Zionists run the world” vibes. Does he really have to bow to Zionists to win an election or else?

He doesn’t have to bow to them, he just has to consider their wishes if he wants their vote, same as those who think Israel is run by genocidal maniacs.

(which it is, for the record)

That would mean Biden has to compromise with genocidal maniacs without supporting genocide anymore… how does one do that? Yeah, what a pickle he is in.

If young adults consistently came out to vote, the government would pay attention to what they want.

Young adults voting in their first presidential in 2020: wins the DNC Georgia and thus the legislative majority

libs in 2024: should have voted harder kiddo, get ignored because the genocide must go on. (Trump would totally genocide harder)

If you read that again, you will find it says “consistently.”

IDK what to tell you if you don’t think Muslim bans, wanting Israel to finish the job, and threatening to nuke Iran over twitter isn’t going to exacerbate the situation. Good luck under the next admin, I guess, you’ll sure have shown me.

We’re going to continue to make sure Israel is secure in terms of Iron Dome and their ability to respond to attacks that came out of the Middle East recently… But it’s, it’s just wrong. We’re not going to – we’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells

If Joe “I’m a Zionist” Biden is dropping public statements like that whist icing out aid, there’s so, SO much more that isn’t being said. Like that report Blinken was meant to release today, but got delayed…

Supposedly they still have several months worth of munitions. Which should be more than sufficient if this is (as they claim it is) the final push. The fact that they’re upset at even a delay in the weapons shows where their real intentions lie.
