It’s crazy to see Sony kill their golden goose.

It was really great, but the constant “balance changes” to remove fun and increase stress really outline to us why military fuckin’ loves the game.

They need their ptsd stoked more than they need a good video game.

The balance changes are fine. There’s a lot to legitimately criticize here, why bring that up? Playing the game in its own right is amazing fun, in fact, the game being so good is why all of these surrounding problems hurt that much more.

Sorry you didn’t like it, maybe you should try something more suitable to your abilities. Turn based maybe?

You say that as if turn-based is not the superior form of game.

Yes… If you prefer the edge of your enemy dulled. What is real time if not extremely frequent turns? That’s why Starcraft is the best game.

Mate, Stephen Hawking was one of the smartest people on the planet, and I bet he preferred turn based over starcraft. Motor skills are not the same as strategic intelligence. Starcraft is a game with a solved meta, which prioritises motor skill over strategy. It’s basically football as far as the intellectual difficulty goes.

And I say this as someone whose favourite strategy game is starcraft. Not because I think it’s a well designed game, but because the Zerg are sexy and I want to fuck a hydralisk.
