He should still be attacked as a gusano, but only as an abstract reflection of that social category as a whole. He personally lost the privilege of having a name and whatever individual identity that gives someone. Either he responds to being called Mr. Bingo because that’s now his name-o or he is ignored like a whining child for insisting that his name is actually Bilbo Baggins or whatever.
