Honestly, it would be really weird for it to be banned in most of the east, because the major reason it was banned in the USA was because of anticompetitive laws and racism, but China is 91% Han and lacks any constitutional antidiscrimination laws so I can’t imagine they would even need to resort to any sort of stealthy racism.
