Meh, a piece of cloth in front of a building in exchange for continued operation of the federal government, upon which hundreds of thousands if not millions of people directly rely on, which oversees veteran care, whom polices corporations, and distributes funds for medical care and education, seems like a decent trade honestly.
Not saying I agree with everything in the spending bill, but I don’t think it’s enough of a loss to say the entire nation as a whole has regressed. If anything, this sort of pettiness by the GOP should just help our cause and embolden youth.
