I should finally look at one of those automated captcha solver extensions for Firefox. I know some are more accurate than humans anyway.

It depends on the website you are visiting, whether you are loged in on Google and how much cookies you allow and a lot more. Also using Chrome may help because it collects more data. Sometimes loging out of Google also helps.
