Not likely. Ghosts have their origin in human souls. When the physical body does, we continue existing in non physical worlds unless we reincarnate on earth again. Ghosts are probably some kind of middle area for some reason.
The physical world is the hardest for the soul since we experience separation and good / evil, and also animal like-traits like competition and lack of resources. But it’s a great way to evolve spiritually if you want to.
