Microsoft doesn’t have much to say about my computer other than the stuff that I knowingly let them because I like the feature. If I never wanted to get an update ever again, I could. If I wanted to completely remove Edge, I could. If I wanted to install old proprietary software that isn’t compatible, I could. If I wanted to delete System32, I could. Windows is not Mac. Microsoft doesn’t have the grip on the system like many Linuxians claim they have.

It is really not.
Microsoft doesn’t have much to say about my computer other than the stuff that I knowingly let them because I like the feature.
