Debut of Henderson and Sharpe backcourt!!!

1st Quarter Update: Scoot was aggressive getting 13 points. Sharpe was pretty quiet, and launched a few threes. The chemistry between Sharpe and Scoot is definitely not there yet. They are pretty much playing your turn my turn. Murray was looking good, Rupert was being bullied down low.

2nd Quarter Update: Scoot’s ability to pass is definitely underrated, didn’t score much this quarter. There were a few times that he saw openings that the team mate he passed to were definitely not even expecting it, his court vision is superb. Defense for Scoot is also great, sniffing out when Whitmore was out of control and was able to tip it away, and was able to rush Jabari Smith to a turnover. Whitmore is trying too hard and trying to force the offense to the detriment of his team mates.

3rd Quarter Update: 3rd quarter started with a weird Technical Foul on Houston, with Sharpe missing the tech free throw; “Ball don’t lie”. Blazers did not do well in this quarter. Kris Murray missed a couple of crucial threes. Sharpe decided to take over and baptize people. But defensively, the team was atrocious. Scoot went to the locker room for an unknown circumstance… Scoot went down with a shoulder injury :(.

4th Quarter Update: Ooof, Sharpe is not doing well at the start with no one from the main team. Jabari Walker helped stabilize the team. Sharpe finally had a thunder dunk around the 5 minute mark, finally woke up and took the game over. I’m annoyed trying to watch the game and all I can see from the TV is Wemby on the final 30 seconds. Jabari Walker got lucky with the foul from Eason, unfortunately missing 1. Houston did great applying pressure, made me feel jealous. Blazers got lucky that with a non shooting foul at the end. A lot of fuckery at the end, where the Blazers just needed to hold on to the ball but they decided to lob the ball instead… Jabari Smith for the win

Nic Batum had a terrible performance in Summer League and Jerryd Bayless was an MVP. But if Scoot and Sharpe go off, hall-of-fame talk only for these guys.
