Russia already has shitty demographics before this war and you can’t on top of that have covid and then lose over a million men from your work force without feeling that. The problem here isn’t really with the source but how it is read. It doesn’t say “killed” but rather “approximate enemy losses” (орієнтовні втрати противника), which would also include the injured.
