Out of curiosity, I went to the r/USMC sub. For what I expected, they were surprisingly level headed, moreso just telling people to be careful and not to do anything stupid. The r/LAPD sub however, was disgustingly disappointing and pissed me off.

I’d imagine the folks who aren’t competent or mentally stable enough for the military end up as police instead.
