Just because I like transhumanism, does not mean I’m going to start demanding everyone get cyber-implants, or that I will use that kind of enhancement. We just need for example: our own power source, such as solar, and that instantly takes away power from the power generation companies.

My goal is to create a sort of blueprint for living in an independent way, by doing it myself. And then encouraging others to do the same, or even helping them achieve independence directly.

This is also a blindspot for the powers that be. They cannot comprehend such behavior. They will see it as good for them, until it is not.

Right, someone has to produce those solar panels, the batteries that go along with it, transformers, the precursor products like copper wires, motors for rotating setups, etc.

How do you stop the producers from intentionally limiting the lifetime of the products for their own benefit?

How do you stop one group from manufacturing weapons of war and establishing an authoritarian hierarchy?

You can’t do that in current society either. But it’s a lot easier to resist if you are not one paycheck away from homelesness, and your power can’t be cut.

I can’t have all the solutions. I’m creating as I go.

Sure you can. You just have to have good lawyers, force users to agree to arbitration, or offer such a small product that it would never make sense for anyone to sue you in the first place.
