Interesting question when talking about games like Wizardry. Less interesting if comparing something unambiguously JRPG like dragon quest.

Then games like Septera Core exist which are JRPGs made for Pc made by American devs known for CRPGs. It’s all to much for me to parse. I’d say post and if it gets engagement you’re probably fine.
