Nearly 91,000 people took part in protests across France, said the interior ministry. Many of those marching highlighted the growing strength of reactionary political forces, in France but also in the United States.

    Demonstrations dont have any effect except making people feel they did something (but no change actually happened).

    They used to have an effect when people in power depended on voters approval. But today, well… People with money makes their own rules.
