Not weird at all. I don’t read all “Western Media” but the US Pentagon had UA losses (Kills and Casualties) at 100,000 last fall. Their current public estimate of Ukraine’s losses is 70,000 KIA and 100,000 to 120,000 WIA.
There’s plenty of reasons to pick on Western Media, no need to make things up.
