    I don’t think it’s disordered tbh

I understand why it might seem kind of small, but it still ends up being a decent amount of food every day and I’ve been losing a moderate amount of weight not anything extreme.

Like today I had a tuna fish sandwich with cheese for lunch, than for dinner I had 3 oz of chicken breasts and a cup and a half of zucchini and summer squash and then I went to the store and bought a TV dinner thing of mashed potatoes chicken corn and gravy. And all together it came up to 1000

1000 is too low, that’s enough to run a comatose sedated patients brain and organs. You moved today, it’s too low. If your maintenance calories are actually 1300, you are dangerously underweight by BMI (40 kg at your height would be 1500 and thats dangerously underweight).

The danger is missing out on vital nutrients when you’re that restricted. Being this restricted can mean getting scurvy, developing arrhythmias, fainting, just feeling shit, even death etc. I strongly suggest you get your weight loss plan squared away with a health professional IRL. If they tell you you might be anorexic, you need to take that seriously they don’t hand out anorexia diagnoses like candy.

If you’re 50 kg or less, you do not need to lose weight. Especially if you do literally any exercise like a few brisk walks a week. No one can make you do it, but I strongly suggest you get an irl health professional to help make a healthy weight plan. 1000 calories is not enough and the possibility of developing electrolyte imbalances and essential nutrient deficiencies remain. You do not need to restrict this much to be a healthy weight.

Would you make someone else eat the way you do?

I’m glad you’re feeling ok about it. I will say if you genuinely feel like you have adequate energy it’s likely you are undercounting somewhat to hit the 1000 figure, even at your height. (which is a GOOD thing please don’t take this as a sign to eat even less) plus most people’s maintenance numbers are a bit higher than what they think/what the calculators spit out unless you’re literally bedridden. so if you feel fine you probably are fine. you obviously know yourself better and sorry if I came across overly prescriptive. but just sayin a strict true 1000/day ain’t healthy.

Honestly, I wouldn’t trust myself. Sometimes I can go all day without eating, get home at like 10pm, and burn like 1000+ calories in exercise and still not feel like I’m really lacking in food. Of course I do eat anyways because I know not to trust my body.
