Oh good. So my account is already long gone. Phew!
Same, but it’s likely going to get worse. Too many have no clue what’s actually happening, because they’re relying on the fourth estate to keep them informed, not realizing that it’s effectively been captured.
I still have hope for a bright future, and I hope we can go back to being good neighbors and good allies, but I’m under no illusions that it’s “just around the corner” if we believe hard enough.
Nope, and it’s actually pretty clever what happened. The judge in the case basically let him go (which is what Trump wanted) but in such a way that the DoJ can’t ever relitigate it (something Trump didn’t want).
Justice was denied, imo, but under the circumstances, the judge managed to thread the needle and keep Trump from being able to blackmail him into doing his bidding.
I don’t have any advice, but you might want to include what device you’re using, to save you and the smarties some time getting to the heart of the problem more quickly.
Teasing. Could also be a form of flirting. It really depends upon context.

So gifted! So capable! Such a deep understanding of the technology!
In a sense, he kinda does have a deep understanding. He knows how the grift works and knows how to trick people into giving him money for a little acting.
Sometimes, I wonder what my life would have been like had even just dabbled in Bitcoin at the beginning, but then I remember that I would have to have been rubbing elbows with these weirdos.
See, there’s this thing called sarcasm…
From the headline:
People worry that ‘moderate’ Democrats like Joe Biden are the same as Republicans. Our study suggests they might be right.
What did I miss?
I like the cut of your jib.
Okay. What makes you think that?
So the Switch is essentially for rent. You can play it, as long as Nintendo decides you’re in its good graces.
You don’t own something to which somebody else has the master off-switch. And with their continued abuse of their own fans and other game developers through the courts, it’s a testament to FOMO and fandom that they are still in business.
Vote with your wallets, y’all. This kind of behavior only makes you the loser.
Funny. I don’t remember Joe Biden imprisoning and deporting hundreds of legal residents and visa-holders without warrant or trial, dismantling education, science, and health organizations, withdrawing vital funding from said endeavors, colluding with Congress, threatening journalists and law firms with retaliation, tanking the economy with tariffs, trying to make the existence of trans people illegal, giving tax cuts to billionaires, dismantling consumer protection agencies, setting up a pro-Evangelical office to investigate Christian “persecution,” and cozying up to literal Nazis. Just to name a few.
But he did support Israel, so I guess they’re exactly the same. /s
But the Dow rallied 1000 points! /s
It’s unfortunately not. Go ask your (general) parents or grandparents what it is and what it means. Ask them if they think it’s happening right now and to what extent.
I bet their answers will be surprising to a lot of people.
They’re also currently working on new ways to litigate Palworld and it’s devs into oblivion, so fuck Nintendo and their anti-gamer attitude.
Vote with your wallet.
Fwiw, I almost always get some amount of buyer’s remorse when I make a purchase, usually on expensive items. There’s some hidden cost or feature that isn’t quite what I’d hoped for.
Not so with the Steam Deck. It has been virtually everything I hoped for, and not once have I felt like it did or had something I didn’t want. When you pull the trigger, I hope you get the same experience.
Absolutely, it is very serious. Just pointing out that OP’s argument that US food is shit because of listeria is not sound.
There are many reasons why US food is terrible, but we don’t need to invent imaginary ones to point that out.
