The fact that there are so many valid reasons makes me extremely unhopeful.

Yeah, I saved about $1800 replacing a turbo myself including having to buy a bunch of tools. Even if I broke the turbo I put in I can still buy another one and have saved money

Then why is the government so completely dominated by the right if most politically active people are on what Americans call the left?

The protests didn’t raise eight figures of donations so they don’t care.

As someone who put $2500 and dozens of hours and sweat and blood into a used car in the last three months: They’re not always cheaper.

That’s the best part: No matter how much I do it will always get worse, just more slowly.

It hasn’t gotten better since 1999 and I don’t believe people are worth the effort anymore.

Cops are great at making any protest violent.

I vote every single year. Primaries for local offices were held a few weeks ago in my state.

I have been doing this for decades. And because it’s a stupid group project things go to shit and I hate everyone.

Like, if it were one of those projects where I could just do most of the work myself and keep the idiots away it would be great.

But here not only are the idiots encouraged to participate, they are required to in order for us to succeed.

So we just continue to fail.

If a protest requires permission it isn’t a protest.

You’re supposed to be voting in all the elections and writing your representatives and showing up at local meetings and stuff.

And then hate your government even more because it’s not just evil, it’s also stupid.

It would definitely be a change from the talking they always do.
