So, that’s a huge W for us. You know what I was as a kid? Contrarian as hell towards any view my teachers had even if retrospectively they were correct. The first exposure to looking into communism on my own was reading the manifesto in 8th grade to figure out what my weirdo social studies teacher was so riled up about. There is no USSR boogeyman that you can say is constantly threatening global Armageddon in any way that feels realistic anymore as well. Y’all won the Cold War and are scared enough of communism still to push this? Kids thrive on adult fear. Plus there’s like, way more communism online now than before, you want a cultural revolution in 15 years? Here’s how you get one you absolute dolts. They’d be better off just not bringing it up as an option. Global warming really sucks, cause if that wasn’t a time bomb on the table I’d be very confident that we could tip over capitalism like Homer Simpson pushing over a tired boxer in a few decades if climate fascism wasn’t pretty much a guarantee
