Some people still think 1984 is anticapitalist (hell i thought so too for a long time before i read about who Eric Blair was), so there’s your subtle hint.

Real, most westerners will take every single work of fiction and twist it so they agree with it. Right wingers will say Squid Game isn’t anti-capitalist, radlibs will say Harry Potter is anti-authoritarian, and leftcoms will say 1984 isn’t at all about communism

1984 is particularly weird since modern, and even contemporary, capitalist states were and are much closer to what is depicted in the book (not surprising considering Orwell never visited any socialist country) than any socialist country was or is, so it legitly can be taken as critique of capitalism and fascism especially if accompanied by the vague “Orwell was a leftist” message. Hell, capitalist propaganda machine goes to very extra lenghts to explain every single time that 1984 is in fact anticommunist book.

Considering we know that it was intended by author to be anticommunist, this makes Orwell the worst writer in history, with his message being (despite wide accompanying explanation), often recieved as opposite to intention.

Maybe is the algorithm trying to make you.see the “evil side” of communism and lose your engagement with the cause, and I’m pretty sure it has worked before
