I work for a government agency and we also are restricted from using AI. Perhaps there are exceptions but I don’t use it at all so I’m not sure.
My company was quick with banning ChatGPT. We’re handling a lot of sensitive customer information, and it wouldn’t be very appreciated if we just gave it all away to some random company.
I hope that open source models catch up soon enough so we can spin up our own AWS instance.
