From the thumbnail i thought the phone was wearing a puffy jacket.
Someone needs to make a phone with airbags, just because.
the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in the US has now launched at a price of $629, up $30 from the price Samsung previously said it was. That’s not really a big increase, but it’s absolutely bizarre to see the retail price of a phone change between its announcement and its actual release, especially when those are only a few weeks apart. Today’s launch has also revealed pricing for the 256GB model at $690, a price Samsung previously hadn’t mentioned.
Well that’s disappointing. It has the processor from the S22; that’s almost two years old. Seems like a downgrade from previous FE phones.
This focus on speed in processors and phones, I think, is silly. They need to have good speed and great build. Having the absolute-latest tech, I just don’t see it as essential.
I strongly disagree with this argument. Yes, you don’t need the absolute latest stuff, but selling stuff that’s 3 years out of date, in this field specifically, is a scam. Whether you want it or not, the tech behind your apps moves on, and buying something old today moves you that much closer to inevitable deprication of your device
And even then, the exynos version in Europe still is weaker…
I mean, sure, but that’s what the FE series has usually been. The current flagship processor with some strategic corners cut to give you a better price.
I’m sure this is going to be a fine phone, but it doesn’t feel like an FE. Why not just buy a Galaxy S22?
