Thank you for posting this; I really enjoyed reading it. As someone who hasn’t been to a con before, but is hoping to next year (and who also suffers from social anxiety), it was great to see your perspective and how you enjoyed it. I particularly liked seeing the ups and downs you had!

I loved reading this! I attended my first furcon in January of this year and I had a really similar experience. It was like you described, even with the social anxiety present there was something about being at a furry con that felt like home, and I could relax a bit easier!
